How these estimates are built

Every figure on this page comes from a published, stated assumption and an arithmetic formula you can reproduce in a spreadsheet. Nothing is hidden behind a lookup we will not show you.

  • Fueling labor uses $32/hour fully burdened labor and 45 minutes per retail refueling trip, across 52 weeks a year.
  • DEF demand is calculated at 3% of the diesel volume your fleet size, annual mileage and fuel economy imply.
  • Greenhouse-gas totals combine vehicle and stationary-asset fuel burn against per-gallon CO₂, CH₄ and N₂O factors shown live in the results panel.
  • Renewable diesel is modelled as an 80% lifecycle reduction scenario against conventional diesel — a planning scenario, not a certified carbon-intensity score.
  • Mobile fueling CO₂ reduction uses 60 lb avoided per diesel event and 51 lb per gasoline event.
